ICT introduce balls in new materials for optical, measurement and x-ray applications

With aim to widen its offer of high precision parts, ICT recently added to its steel and ceramic balls range new products and solutions in fields of optics, fibres communication, power transmission, pumps and valves, instruments and meters.

Ball Lenses and Preform Balls (made of low Tg point materials for aspherical lens moulding) have superior stable quality and meet the technical requirements of international standards at very competitive pricing. ICT complete the offer of special optical component products with optical hemispherical lenses, optical cylindrical lenses and optical flat lenses and windows. Thanks to a team of engineers with high competence in optics and continuous investments in R&D, the company can provide customized dedicated solutions.

Optical ball lenses range from 0.4 mm diameter up to 150 mm diameter. Selected raw material suppliers (e.g. HOYA, SUMITA, OHARA, HIKARI and SCHOTT) allow to always guarantee the highest quality of finished optical glass ball lenses. The products range of ball lenses is completed by fused silica, sapphire, CZ crystal and monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon.

The special balls offer of ICT is completed by balls in G3 quality grade and in materials like soda lime glass, borosilicate glass (even miniature for writing pens technology), quartz glass, ruby and sapphire (also for high precision measurement equipment). Finally, matte balls for x-ray equipment are also available.
